However, when it comes to the study of Wild Animals, there are various factors based on which the wild animals are categorized. One of the most common classification of Wild Animals is as per the regions and thus you have African Wild Animals, Wild Animals of North and South America, Asian Wild Animals, Wild Animals of Europe, and Antarctic Wild Animals.

Generally when we speak of Wild Animals, we mean the animals that are untouched by human factors but it is not so anymore as the wild animals and wildlife around the world is greatly impacted by human activities. In fact, due to various reasons such as excessive hunting of certain animals by humans, many species of wild animals have become endangered or are at the risk of becoming extinct. That is why, lots of governmental agencies all over the world have enacted special laws for the conservation of wild animals and creating special National Parks to preserve wild animals.
