Nocturnal behavior of many animals eludes us of seeing them. It is really hard to spot a nocturnal animal during day time, until and unless you go out in search of one knowing a bit about their ethology. This includes many amphibians, reptiles, insects and small mammals which are quite common in our surroundings but yet rare in sightings during day time. Giving up a night's sleep and going out into darkness with a flashlight by following sounds, many animals quite new to our knowledge are present everywhere. Just give it a try.
