Oriental white Ibis a marsh bird found commonly around south Indian villages. As seen in the pic the head and neck are black. The large bill is curved downwards.Body plumage white in color, which changes to slaty grey on scapulars and in wings with ornamental plumes at base of the neck during breeding season. Nests around November to February in South India.
