Handful beauty. Thanks for the find Rathina.
Ahaetulla nasuta is a very slender, or I must say, looks highly aerodynamic, arboreal snake. The green coloration with white patches on its dorsal and lateral body surface looks awesome.
Some says it is non-venomous and some say its mildly venomous. Well, I don't know; never bit me.
This guy was lying on the foot path by the road outside our campus, Madras University, Guindy Campus. I think he fell down from the tree over the pathway and seemed lost. My friend Rathina saw it and called me. We took him into our lush green campus, clicked some photos and released him there.
Thanks Marcus for teaching me super macro option of camera. :)
