This is our (me, Norsang, Dawa) 'oldschool mates' trip to Gokarna, popularly known for its Om Beach. Its about 3 1/2 hours drive away from our village, Mundgod. The drive in this time of the year took us through Western Ghats in a utterly heavenly wet conditions. The scenic beauty and the smell of fresh air through the dense vegetation was simply nostalgic. And this monkey was sitting atop a Hindu Temple where we had our first stop, looked cute.
Lets Save Western Ghats

This frog was in our village rice field. I've always heard, frog's skin is moist, but this guy's skin looked somewhat dry, though I didn't touch him, and he hopped quite a distance. Power leg muscles. Nevertheless he gave a good timed pose for me to click some shots. Thanks bro.

Another beautiful one atop the hills of western ghats, where the terrain was rocky. The rocks looked pourous and blackish in appearance. Due to heavy monsoon rain, there were puddles here and there, from one of which, this buddy hopped out. He got cornored and snapped. :)
